How to install ball mill ?
Host-axis should be the level and the ends of the hollow shaft should in the same height, but it is allowed that the feed-side higher than the discharge end about 1mm. The gap surrounding the hollow shaft should be basically the same as surrounding the bearing gland.
After the host installation, the installation of transmission part can begin. Firstly, you should check the assembly of the ball mill transmission part, mainly examine whether the pinion shaft and the reducer of low-speed shaft is concentric.
Install and adjust the transmission part based on the host’s large gear, So that the width of the both sides of the pinion gear is the same as the large gear, gear tooth surface of the large gear are parallel to the pinion gear and gear backlash should be at least 0.25mm. From the size of the gear contacts traces to see, the length of contacts traces should be at least 60% of the length of the gear and the height of contacts traces should be at least 40% of the height of the gear.
If the contacts traces lean to the one side, namely, that tooth surface is not parallel. If the large gear is jammed, namely, the gap between the gears is too small, which should be enlarged.
